Technology for Instant Entry and
Exit Access
Rytec has introduced AARC, its new Activation and Access Remote
Control technology for use with its high-performance doors. AARC
provides instant entry or exit access via remote Bluetooth or 3G technology. Now parking facilities and other commercial properties can
provide efficient, affordable access for their customers, residents and
visitors. Parking and property access is quick and convenient using
any IOS or Android device. With AARC, no additional activation devices are required.
App-based activation occurs within 50' of door, with control managed and monitored through app-based, web-online and cloud-based
access. Standard Bluetooth and wireless loop activation available,
along with optional remote/encrypted key fob. Security is enhanced
through selective access from an authorized user listing, to which users can be easily added or deleted.
Management of long-term and short-term parking, fleet and warehouse operations now can be efficiently managed in real time by cellphone, online or cloud-based connectivity. High-technology activation and access control for Rytec high-performance doors has never

GST DEALERS CAN NOW ACCESS THEIR COLLISION PARTS MARKETING PROGRAM THROUGH COLLISIONLINK
OEConnection LLC (OEC), the leading automotive technology provider for original equipment manufacturers' (OEM) distribution networks,
announced that Gulf States Toyota (GST) has added CollisionLink as
a key solution provider for its collision parts marketing program. GST
is the 25th automotive dealer network in North America to use CollisionLink to facilitate their collision parts marketing program.
CollisionLink enables the dealer network to access competitive pricing on eligible OE parts orders from the expansive national CollisionLink body shop network, which now covers over 94 percent of all
consumer vehicles on the road in North America.
"CollisionLink's large network of shops will help Gulf States Toyota
compete more effectively throughout their geographic region," said
Bill Lopez, OEC General Manager, Collision. "CollisionLink will help
them develop deeper relationships with their shop customers, while
also improving customer satisfaction and order processing efficiency."
"With over 150 dealers, we want to provide our dealers and their
customers with the right solutions that will put more Genuine Toyota parts on Toyota vehicles," said Rick Martinez of GST. Since many
shops in GST's market already use CollisionLink, it makes start up time
that much faster and easier.
Beginning in January 2020, GST dealers will have access to their collision parts marketing program via CollisionLink.

Hörmann High Performance Doors has launched a new service support app now available on the App Store and Google Play. The app is
configured to help technicians who service and install Hörmann high
speed, high performance doors, with initial door installation as well
as with resolving errors and malfunctions in the field, without having
to call into the company's technical support department, reducing
downtime for the customer. A specific fault code that appears on
the door control box LED screen may be entered into a text field on
the app homescreen, and the Issue and Solution immediately appear.
New installers will appreciate the Quickstart Guide which lists common start-up tasks and settings for fast and efficient commissioning of new door installations. A complete parameter list with clear
explanations is readily available and wiring diagrams and schematics
for control boxes and activations may be rotated and expanded for
a clear view of important details. App users still have the option to
call into technical support with the press of a button if they exhaust
efforts within the app content.

New PetraSync® Digital
Service Menu Designed with
Dealer-Inspired Features
Petra Oil surveys dealer managers to determine what they would like
in a customer service application tool.
CYPRESS, TEXAS - Petra Oil Company has announced the launch of
a new automotive dealer Digital Service Menu designed with the service manager's needs in mind. This unique package, christened PetraSync®, combines the most desired service lane features with the
convenience and practical application of a tablet.
Compatible with either Android or iPad tablet technology, the new
PetraSync® package includes wireless and Web-based applications
designed to improve and expedite both the intake of service orders
and the comprehensive accuracy of the inspection process.
"All of us are acutely aware of how hectic the service drive can be, especially in the morning hours," says Arnold Gacita, Jr., National Sales
Manager of Petra Oil, "so we wanted to provide an exceptional customer service tool that will streamline the service lane to help keep
up with traffic."
To develop the most effective tool, Petra Oil went straight to the customer. "Prior to software development," says Gacita, "and with a focus
on improving the customer experience and increasing efficiency and
speed of service, we surveyed our dealer managers and asked them
what they would like to see in a service lane tool."
With PetraSync®, service advisors can quickly view customer in-dealership service history, access VIN specific OEM data, present pricing
menus, perform digital walkaround inspections, present educational
service videos and more. The tool will also allow advisor to identify
items needing repair, attach notes to the RO, and email their parts
department with an alert that a certain vehicle is in service and that
specific parts will now be required to service that customer. In addition, to assist in managing the performance of the department, PetraSync® tracks key performance indicators, including closing rates,
usage rates, dollar volumes and the most popular types of services
and packages.
"Improving vehicle quality translates into longer maintenance intervals, which means fewer visits to the service lane," say Gacita, "and
that means every service visit becomes more important. To help offset this trend, PetraSync® was designed to not only increase speed
and efficiency, but to better engage customers so that advisors never
miss revenue opportunities."
