20 years ago, Fixed Ops Magazine's first issue talked about
selling synthetic oil service, bar codes to streamline the Parts
Department, and propping up dealers' profits through service
absorption. We have come a long way in 20 years, and
we would like to Thank You for allowing our magazine to be
your resource for growing your Fixed Operations. The business
of automobile servicing has clearly become more technically
advanced but the underlying need to deliver exceptional
service, retain customers, and deliver profits for the
franchise has not changed.
